Took Richard Rouse to Big Bend so he could paint in person what he'd liked in my photos for so long.
This trip, besides using my Rolleiflex 2.8 with both color and B&W, I carried the camera that these photos came from: Kodak V570 Dual Lens digital.
Set mostly on Kodachrome and only mildly edited in post--sharpness, some contrast and saturation--this was my first real digital camera, pocket-sized at that, and while its limits were quickly reached, the results were better than many other small digitals in the day provided.
