Through aspens and across bare ridges, we climbed over an unnamed pass (some call it Keyhole Pass) and started to descend to Quartz Lake. Stopping for lunch 1/2 mile above the lake, the sleet pellets turned us around to escape what might have been some iffy weather for crossing not just so much exposed rock, but the tricky footing as well. The first section of photos is from my iPhone X, the second from my Sigma dp 0 Quattro.
